Transgender Day of Resilience and Resistance 2015

December 14, 2017

To Whom It May Concern,

TEC request of supportMy name is Miguel Hunter and I am the Executive Director of a nonprofit community-based organization called Triangle Empowerment Center, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in Durham NC, who is devoted to making a difference in the community. We provide the highest quality programs that benefit all residents in our city and the surrounding areas.

We ask that you consider supporting our causes. Our goal is to raise $10,000.00 by mid-March 2018 for the community we serve. In the spirit of giving this holiday season, funds donated will be used to help fund our food pantry with our emergency transitional housing program called Ground Up Housing Solutions. In addition to providing housing services for our residents, we offer supportive services as well. Funds will be used to support the following services for our clients in need: purchase deep freezer for food pantry, remodeling food pantry, rental assistance, copay assistance for medications and transportation assistance. We offer these services while assisting in transitioning residents from emergency housing to permanent housing.

Your donation will be acknowledged in many ways. We will list you on our website as a supporter of the organization, as well as any promotional material we produce for our outreach events. Triangle Empowerment Center relies on support of generous donors such as you. Your donation will help ensure the success of continuing these programs for those in need. For convenient purposes, we made it available to donate electronically via GoFundMe website with the following link on GoFundMe: Warmth from the Heart. All donations are tax deductible.

If any more information, please let me know. I can be contacted directly by This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or by calling (919) 696-1221.
